Portuguese language teacher

(European Portuguese)

 

The Escola Portuguesa de Cambridge e Somerville, Inc. is also interested in European Portuguese language teachers for  school age children. 

 

Minimum requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in foreign language, linguistics, or a related field, native European Portuguese fluency, and teaching experience;

• An understanding of the culture

• Responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons

• Responsible for keeping classroom organized and clean, and communicating with parents in person and in writing.

• Basic administration, such as keeping student registers and attendance records

• Attend Monthly Teacher Meetings

• Organize and getting involved in social and cultural activities for and with parents and Board.
